Night vision knowledge

The LDNV003TH combines traditional image-intensified night vision with an integrated thermal detector. Learn how the two sensing systems work together and how it differs from a standard PVS-7 or a PVS-7 with COTI.

A complete night vision helmet setup involves more than the NVG itself. Learn what changes between PVS-14 and PVS-31 setups and which mounts, J-arms and power accessories you actually need.

A thermal scope may detect a heat source much farther away than it can recognize it. Learn how detector resolution, lens focal length, target size and laser ranging affect the real viewing distance of a thermal imaging device.
